Willow has always been a joyful, energetic dog who loves to run, play, and be part of everything happening around her.
Without warning, Willow suddenly stopped putting weight on one of her hind legs. A veterinary examination confirmed a serious cruciate ligament injury that cannot heal properly without surgical treatment.
Willow now needs orthopedic surgery to repair her injured knee and give her the best chance to walk, run, and play comfortably again.
The operation is only the first step. After surgery, Willow will face an extensive recovery that includes pain management, restricted activity, follow-up veterinary visits, and physical rehabilitation.
For a dog with so much energy and love for life, being unable to use her leg has been incredibly difficult. But with the right treatment, Willow has an excellent opportunity to regain her mobility.
She just needs some help getting there.
