An examination revealed that part of her intestine had shifted out of its normal position, creating a dangerous risk of restricted blood flow and severe intestinal damage.
Cannoli was rushed to a veterinary hospital for emergency care. Because surgery carries significant risks, the veterinary team is currently trying to stabilize her with medication, careful monitoring, and controlled movement in hopes of avoiding an invasive procedure.
Her condition remains uncertain, and surgery may still become necessary if she does not respond to treatment.
Cannoli requires continued hospitalization, medications, diagnostic testing, and close veterinary supervision to give her the best possible chance of recovery.
