Alpha was found outside on a freezing winter day, exhausted and desperately trying to stay warm. Despite everything he had been through, he still trusted people and was waiting for someone to notice him.
A group of caring strangers found Alpha and realized that he was sick and needed help. Soon, he was taken into rescue care and brought to a veterinary hospital for examination and treatment.
The results revealed several serious health problems. Alpha was suffering from a severe viral infection, painful ulcers throughout his mouth, inflammation around his eyes, and complications affecting his liver, kidneys, pancreas, and stomach.
Treatment began immediately, but his recovery was difficult. For weeks, Alpha struggled to eat, lost weight, and required intensive veterinary care, medications, and close monitoring.
After his condition finally stabilized, another complication appeared: dangerously high blood sugar. With additional treatment and carefully managed insulin therapy, Alpha overcame this crisis as well, and his glucose levels have remained stable.
Today, Alpha’s biggest challenge is severe chronic inflammation in his mouth. His gums bleed, several teeth are badly damaged, and eating has become painful and difficult.
Alpha now needs extensive dental treatment and surgery to remove the damaged teeth and relieve his pain.
Through everything, Alpha has remained gentle, affectionate, and incredibly patient. He has already overcome so much — now he needs our help to finish his treatment, recover, and finally have the comfortable life he deserves.
