Teddy has always been a happy, affectionate, and playful dog who loves attention and being around people. But a few months ago, everything suddenly began to change.
He started trembling, became increasingly disoriented, avoided being touched, and lost interest in the things he once loved. After multiple veterinary visits and tests, Teddy was referred to a veterinary neurologist for further evaluation.
An MRI revealed a significant abnormality in his pituitary gland that is pressing on surrounding areas of his brain. The most likely diagnosis is a pituitary macroadenoma — a brain tumor.
Today, Teddy is no longer the energetic and affectionate dog he used to be. His condition has affected his behavior, awareness, and overall quality of life.
He is currently receiving medication to help manage his symptoms. Radiation therapy may be the next step, along with additional testing and specialized veterinary care.
Teddy still has a difficult road ahead, and the cost of his treatment continues to grow. He will need ongoing medical care, medications, specialist visits, and potentially radiation therapy.
